A Heartfelt Reminder to Our Future Doctors
Dearest Future Doctor,
Take a deep breath. Close your eyes for just a moment and travel back in time. Long before you were carrying heavy textbooks and worrying about competitive exams, your mother carried you.
The Silent Sacrifice:
For nine long months, she put her entire life on hold. She gave up the foods she craved, the comfort of a deep sleep, and the freedom to move without paināall to ensure you had the best start possible. She endured physical exhaustion and a level of pain most cannot imagine, just to bring you into this world.
And it didn't stop there. Think of your father, working tirelessly through heat and stress, keeping his own dreams aside to fund yours. Every drop of their sweat is an investment in the person you are becoming today.
Shifting Your Perspective:
Sometimes, when the pressure of the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) feels like too much, itās easy to feel frustrated with our parents. We might think they are being too hard on us or that they don't understand.
But remember:
Their "tough love" often comes from a place of deep-seated hope.
They aren't just waiting for a "pass" certificate; they are waiting to see you stand on your own two feet, respected and successful.
When they talk about marriage or changing fields, itās often because they are scared for your future, not because theyāve stopped believing in you.
Instead of seeing their expectations as a burden, try seeing them as a tribute.
Do It for the Future "You":
While your parentsā pride is a beautiful goal, remember to study for the person you see in the mirror.
Study because you want the skill to save a life.
Study because you deserve a career that fulfills your soul.
Study because you are capable of greatness.
"Success isn't just about the white coat; it's about the discipline, heart, and grit it took to earn it."
The Final Sprint:
The clock is ticking, but it hasn't stopped yet. You still have time to turn the tide. Every hour you spend focused today is a gift to your future self and a "thank you" to the parents who sacrificed everything for you.
Letās crack the CEE this time. Not out of guilt, but out of love. Out of respect for the journey that brought you here.
Go back to your books with a smile. Your parents love you, the world needs you, and you have exactly what it takes to succeed.
Stay strong, stay humble, and keep going.
Best wishes, Future Doctor! š©ŗāØ
