कोरोना संक्रमणपछि चिकित्साशास्त्र अध्ययान संस्थान (आइओएम)का प्राध्यापक एवं बरिष्ठ मुटुरोग विशेषज्ञ डा. सुनिल झाको निधन भएको छ।

कोरोना संक्रमण भएर महाराजगन्ज टिचिङ अस्पतालमा भर्ना भएका उनको सोमबार मृत्यु भएको अस्पताल स्रोतले जनाएको छ।

मनमोहन कार्डियोथोरासिस एण्ड ट्रन्सप्लान्ट सेन्टरमा कार्यरत डा. झालाई सबै खालका उपचार गर्दा पनि सुधार हुन नसकेको चिकित्सकहरुले बताएका थिए।

तीन सातादेखि उनी भेन्टिलेटरमै थिए।

मधुमेह र पार्किन्सन्स रोगका बिरामी डा. झालाई सुरुमा नर्भिक अस्पताल लगिएकोमा असोज अन्तिम साता त्रिवि शिक्षण अस्पताल लगिएको थियो।रेमडिसिभिर, प्लाज्माथेरापीले पनि सुधार नआएको चिकित्सकहरुको भनाई छ।

गत कार्तिकमै उनलाई कोरोना संक्रमण देखिएको थियो।

झाको फोक्सोमा निमोनियाका दाग देखिइरहेको चिकित्सकहरुले बताएका थिए। मधुमेह भएका कारण लामो समयदेखि अस्पताल आइनरहेका डा. झाको परिवारका अन्य केही सदस्यमा समेत कोरोना संक्रमण देखिएको थियो।
