Robinsons Bay Olives is an olive oil producer based in Banks Peninsula, New Zealand. Each year our boutique olive grove in Robinsons Bay produces award winning Extra Virgin and infused olive oils. We are proud to have won ‘New Zealand’s Best’ four times at the New Zealand Olive Oil Awards and are delighted to be able to display ‘Gold Medals’ year after year on our bottles. We are a family run business dedicated to making delicious oil and we firmly believe that olive oil is essential to good health and wellbeing.

We were delighted to celebrate the opening of Cache 7520 in Akaroa last night 🥂✨

It’s wonderful to see Robinsons Bay Olives proudly displayed on the counter of such a beautifully curated store, with our award-winning extra virgin olive oil and infused olive oils sitting alongside an incredible collection of New Zealand-made brands, including our daughter’s olive oil-based skincare business, EVOO+ botanicals 🫶🏽✨

Shelly and Marc have created something truly special, championing local makers and offering visitors a wonderful shopping experience in the heart of Akaroa.

Weekend treat! Annette’s Banana Muffins 🍌💛✨ Made with Robinsons Bay Mandarin and Lemon infused olive oil rather than butter. Yum!

Ingredients:

5 very ripe bananas mashed
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup Robinsons Bay Mandarin and Lemon infused olive oil
3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Method:

Beat the eggs and sugar together with a whisk.
Mix in the olive oil and mashed bananas.
Sift in the dry ingredients and stir lightly until just combined.
Spoon into muffin pans and bake for 15-20 minutes at 190 C (375F)

🍫 To make Banana Chocolate Chip muffins add 2 Tbsp cocoa powder and 1/2 cup chocolate chips along with the dry ingredients.
