November has only just started and already it’s been full of heart across our Kumeu Village and The Ladybug 🐞 homes — filled with smiles, laughter, and moments that remind us how beautiful life can be when it’s shared.
At Kumeu Village, life hums with warmth, energy, and connection. From garden walks and music mornings to friendly competitions and shared laughter in the lounge, there’s a feeling of family everywhere you turn.
Our 100-bed home provides hospital, specialised dementia, and respite care for both men and women — and we’re proud to share that we’ve recently opened two beautiful new rooms, thoughtfully designed to offer warmth, peace, and a true sense of home. These spaces are perfect for short-term respite, long-term care, or for families seeking comfort and dignity at life’s most delicate stages. 🌿
Just a short drive away, nestled among the trees in Coatesville, you’ll find our sister home — The Ladybug, Dementia Care Home, a boutique 15-bed residence dedicated exclusively to women. 💕
Here, our Ladybug Queens live life in full colour — baking, dancing, sharing stories, and this month, dressing to impress for their very own “Day at the Races,” complete with a surprise visit from Elvis 🐴himself! 👑🎶
Though each home has its own rhythm, both share one heartbeat — love, dignity, and a deep belief that our residents aren’t living in our workplace… we are supporting them in their home.
