Well not quite the update I was hoping to do, but it turns out I actually fractured my finger in 2 places & tore the tendon.

Luckily my physio was not happy that the Dr I saw didnt send me for a xray & referred me for an x-ray & scan on friday & I managed to get one in Chch friday afternoon! Then back up to Chch yesterday for my splint.

X-ray again in 4 weeks to see how its healing.

So I will be out of action for Reflexology for the next wee while. Will keep you updated.

Hi everyone, realised its been a while since I posted!

Its been a busy time. Our lovely lab Daisy tore her other cruciate ligament & had surgery 5 weeks ago. Recovery is pretty full on but shes doing great. She seems to remember it from last year & is making the most of lots of extra love, time, attention & of course treats at physio ❤️

So Daisy is recovery well.. but I have unfortunately injured my hand! A bit of a hand vs 29kg dog who decided to run to see what our cat was up to while we were relaxing in the sun, after one of her walks around the garden! Her lead got tangled in my hand & I also instinctively held on as shes not allowed to run for another 7 weeks! One extremely bruised & swollen finger, twisted wrist & swollen hand. Gave my shoulder a pretty good pull to. Physio on friday & I'm hoping I'll be ok for the week starting the 14th. Will keep you all updated after friday.

It looks into foot reflexology's short-term effects on pain, anxiety and physiological response levels in women dealing with shoulder and neck pain. It found that with just one session, the participants' pain, heart rate, anxiety and additional symptoms were reduced while their calmness and comfort emotions increased.
