Te Wiki o te Reo Māori | Māori Language Week💛

This week, we celebrate te reo Māori and the many simple ways to use it in everyday life.

Whether you’re just starting your te reo journey or already confident, every effort counts.

A few easy ways to get involved:

- Start conversations with “Kia ora”
- Learn a new Māori word or phrase each day
- Share a simple mihi
- Encourage others learning and using te reo Māori

Te reo Māori is a taonga (treasure) and an important part of Aotearoa New Zealand’s identity. By using it more, we help keep it strong for future generations.

Let’s use a little more te reo Māori this week and beyond.

June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

We are proud to support initiatives that promote preventative healthcare, early detection, and better patient outcomes.

New Zealand has one of the highest rates of bowel cancer in the world, with more than 3,000 people diagnosed each year.

The good news? When detected early, more than 90% of bowel cancer cases can be successfully treated.
