Huge Congrats to our resident Caroline I Naturopath + Metabolic Balance Practitioner, Caroline Robinson, who has been selected to play in the New Zealand Women’s 55’s Hockey Team to attend the Masters Hockey World Cup in Brasschaat, Belgium, in August. With 16 teams in the grade including Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, USA and Wales- this is a big deal! Welcome to the team Joyce!

Joyce recently completed a Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Auckland and is passionate about supporting people through all stages of their
rehabilitation journey.

Prior to moving to Auckland, Joyce lived in London for nine years, where she trained as a professional ballet dancer until her early 20s. She then went on to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Dance Therapy, which continues to inform her understanding of movement, performance, and injury rehabilitation. She takes a holistic approach, focusing on understanding each individual’s goals, lifestyle, and movement patterns to guide effective and meaningful recovery. She values combining evidence-based practice with clear communication to help clients feel confident and supported throughout their rehabilitation. Joyce enjoys working collaboratively with patients to improve function, reduce pain, and build long-term resilience and confidence.

As a welcome offer, all members are invited to have a free half hour with Joyce - use it for a massage or to deal with a ni**le or to make a plan for rehab going forward - up to you !!! Contact Sue on [email protected] to book.

Introducing your March member of the month ……. Alex Hall!

Alex Hall has been an amazing member of re:ab and has caught our instructors’ eyes recently for her consistent training and the range of classes she is attending.

Alex is focussed and has really developed her strength in circuit classes over the past 6 months. She has progressed with her pilates repertoire too and works consistently with good form through her range.

In addition to her pilates and circuit classes she is training for a half marathon in May and running 3-4 times a week.

Introducing your October member of the month.......Suzy Timpson!

Suzy Timpson has been a regular re:ab member for a couple of years, and we've loved her being part of the community at the studio.

This month, we want to celebrate the achievements Suzy has made with her strength and form in both pilates and fitness. When Foundation Circuit was introduced onto the re:ab timetable, it was designed for clients like Suzy - those who were curious about circuit but were not confident joining the regular class.

Suzy has progressed from cautiously using the same weights for all the exercises to choosing different weights for particular exercises, and feeling confident adding or reducing weight as the exercise demands.

This strength is now feeding back into her pilates practice, and she is looking more stable and connected throughout the pilates repertoire.

Congratulations Suzy!!
