Engaging in demanding sports like bodybuilding requires immense dedication and hard work. While we often hear about the positive effects of weight loss challenges and regular exercise, it's essential we understand the impact it has on our loved ones. Welcome to the final episode of Organic Talanoa, Episode 12:
Talofa Everyone! 😊It has been an eventful couple of months for myself as we are all getting crazy busy, but I'm thrilled to present the last Podcast of this series to you. In this episode, I am joined by Richie Leith Aholelei a Business Entrepreneur, Fitness Guru, 💪and a passionate advocate for the community in numerous ways, especially in supporting our Families. Richie graciously shares his mindfulness journey with us, revealing how it aids him in balancing his hectic schedule of business and family life. As you listen, you'll discover his own experiences during the Lockdown and how he extended a helping hand to the community, despite facing challenges in his own business. This led to his profound statement, "if you look after the community, the community will look after you." My sincere hope is that you find something captivating and meaningful in this Organic Talanoa, providing support for your own journey through life.

After finally settling back this week into the reality of family work and coaching life, I have had the time to reflect on our Tangaroa College 1st XV Tour and the amazing support from all our hosts, the Pastoral team as well family, which we thoroughly enjoyed with both the Coaches and Teachers and more importantly our young men. This tour provided an opportunity for the players to develop their character and leadership skills, so many highlights to mention but the visit to Melbourne Storm Rugby League and seeing the facilities and listening to how a team that is renowned for their strong values of family, accountability, hard work, respect, and passion gave the Tangaroa players first-hand look into how these values have helped build a successful team culture, both on and off the field.
This tour is sure to create lifelong friendships and provide an unforgettable experience for the Tangaroa players which was the whole intention of the tour, rugby was the vehicle of opportunity to show these young men there is a lot that goes on outside of Otara.

We look forward to the season with newfound confidence and determination as well as taking on board the important values of integrity, accountability, and honour, setting them up for success not just in rugby, but in all aspects of life. Well done to all sponsors involved which couldn’t have been possible without you all, love to make this a reality for other young men to experience in the future, so let’s talk!
