What team-based care means for you and your whānau 💙
We’re making it easier for you to get the right care, at the right time, while continuing to provide personal and coordinated care.
More appointment options:
When you’re unwell, waiting to see your preferred GP isn’t always practical. Our team-based model gives you more flexibility to book with any GP who has availability, helping you access care sooner.
You can book through The Doctors App, or call Reception and we’ll offer you the next available GP appointment.
Access to a wider range of expertise:
Our clinical team brings different skills, specialisations and experience. By working together, we can help match you with the healthcare professional best suited to your needs.
When you call to make an appointment, our Reception team may ask what you’d like to be seen for. This helps us book you with the most appropriate GP or nurse. Any information you share is treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Connected, coordinated care:
Your care doesn’t rely on one person alone. Our GPs work from a shared clinical record, meaning whoever you see can access your medical history, medications, test results and previous consultations.
Our clinicians communicate and work together to ensure your care remains consistent, coordinated and informed.
Continuity of care still matters:
We know many patients value having a regular GP who knows them and their health history. If you’re managing a chronic or ongoing condition, we encourage you to continue seeing your usual GP whenever possible.
If your regular GP isn’t available and your concern can’t wait, another member of our team can step in with access to your shared clinical record and the support of your usual healthcare team.
Our team is here to help you access the care you need, when you need it.
