As spring unfolds, the days grow warmer and the world around us begins to bloom again, bringing a sense of hope as we move away from winter and towards summer.

Yet, the beauty of a new season can also bring reminders of those we miss. A favourite flower coming into bloom, the sound of birdsong or a familiar place looking bright in the spring sunshine can bring memories to the surface, sometimes bringing comfort and sometimes deepening the ache of their absence.

Grief can feel like a storm that rolls in without warning. Sometimes you can feel it building, and sometimes it arrives in an instant, bringing a rush of emotions that can feel impossible to hold back.

A photo tribute is a meaningful way to celebrate your loved one’s life, bringing together photos and music to share their story during the funeral service.

When choosing photos, include the people they loved, the activities they enjoyed, and everyday moments that reflect who they were and the life they lived.

To help create a well-paced tribute, around 30–40 photos works well for a 4-minute song, with the overall tribute ideally kept to around 8 minutes or less.
