WHEN SHOULD YOU SEE A GP? 🩺
We all put things off sometimes. That lingering cough, recurring headache or tiredness you've been meaning to get checked.
But when is it time to stop waiting and make an appointment?
Here are some common symptoms that are worth discussing with your GP:
🔹 A cough that won't go away or keeps coming back
🔹 Unexplained tiredness that doesn't improve with rest
🔹 Recurring headaches, dizziness or unexplained pain
🔹 Changes in your weight or appetite without an obvious reason
🔹 Changes in your bowel or bladder habits
🔹 Skin changes, including a new or changing mole or spot
🔹 Ongoing sleep problems that are affecting your everyday life
🔹 Feeling unusually anxious, low or overwhelmed
🔹 Symptoms that keep returning even if they seem minor
You don't need to wait until something feels serious before talking to your GP. Sometimes getting something checked early can provide reassurance, identify a problem sooner or help prevent it from becoming more serious.
💙 If something doesn't feel right, it's worth getting it checked.
