Zenthai Shiatsu Workshops

This week we will be hosting two Zenthai Shiatsu workshops at the lush and beautiful Kula Yoga Studio in central Christchurch!

Workshop One: Introduction to Zenthai
Sat 5th Sep 2026
1pm - 3.30pm
Kula Yoga Studio

A 2.5 hour workshop, we will explore the base principles of Zenthai Shiatsu floor bodywork, how we can move our own bodies and how that translates in moving another coupled with lots of hands on practice of introductory gestures and transitions!

Workshop Two: Wood Element Exploration
Sun 6th Sep 2026
11am - 1.30pm
Kula Yoga Studio

A 2.5 hour workshop, we will learn some wood element inspired techniques and transitions tied together into a fluid flow of gestures and movement

This video showcases just a handful of the 80+ gestures we explore in the zenthai level
one sequence. We are at about 70% capacity for the training with limited spots due to space and equipment restraints!

Stoked to be setting up a bodywork tent and running a workshop at the new NZ festival on the block this year, Resonance 2026

It has been a big summer of festivals weekend in, weekend out! It will be a nice way too see the season out at Leightons Farm on South Head, Kaipara!

Hope to see some of you there and if you are there come say Hi.. the workshop will be on Sunday at 2.30pm, will be some nourishing partner yoga and a restorative bodywork flow for all the tired punters after what no doubt will be a bass heavy weekend!
