This week reminded me why I love community pharmacy.

People rarely walk through our doors asking for a "service."

They come because they're worried, unsure, overwhelmed, or simply looking for someone to help them make sense of what's happening.

A prescription may be part of the answer.

Sometimes it's a blood pressure check.

Sometimes it's advice.

Sometimes it's a conversation about nutrition.

Sometimes it's simply taking the time to ask one more question.

Community pharmacy has always been about more than medicines.

At its best, it is one of the most accessible places in healthcare where relationships are built over time, small conversations become meaningful changes, and people feel comfortable coming back.

As pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy teams, we have the privilege of being part of our communities every day.

Thank you to everyone who trusts us with those conversations.
