This week, we celebrate te reo Māori and the many simple ways we can use it in our everyday lives.

Whether you’re just starting your te reo journey or already confident, every effort counts.

A few easy ways to get involved:

- Start meetings with “Kia ora”
- Sign off emails with “Ngā mihi”
- Learn a new Māori word or phrase each day
- Share a simple mihi
- Encourage others learning and using te reo Māori

Te reo Māori is a taonga (treasure) and an important part of Aotearoa New Zealand’s identity. By using it more, we help keep it strong for future generations.

We are proud to support initiatives that promote preventative healthcare, early detection, and better health outcomes for our communities.

Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers in New Zealand, with more than 3,000 people diagnosed each year. The encouraging news is that when detected early, more than 90% of cases can be successfully treated.
