Simple yet profound advice from Barbara Scott of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists 🥰

Everyone tells you to reduce your stress when you're trying for a baby.
"It will happen, if you stop being so stressed".
But how on earth do you do that when you're going through fertility issues? It's all consuming, and highly emotive.
Barbara Scott, our chair says "Fertility issues are stressful, and it's really hard to think of anything else. I advise my clients to immerse themselves in an activity that's all consuming. Anything from knitting to kayaking! Find something that occupies your brain completely. That in turn will relieve your stress, and give your brain something else so focus on."
It could be something new to learn or an activity that you love but haven't done in a while. Giving your brain a break by doing something else all consuming will bring down your stress levels.
