Today is World Arthritis Day 🌍

Did you know that around 850,000 New Zealanders suffer from arthritis? There’s no cure, but there are medications now that help to manage symptoms.

We’re proud to have been a part of a trial for one of those medications in the H**E study. The resulting medication, Selarsdi, is now used internationally for Crohn's disease, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

We’re often asked whether international visitors and non-residents can take part in a clinical trial while in New Zealand, and the short answer is yes.

As well as meeting the trial requirements, you’ll need a valid work visa to be eligible, and must be able to participate for the full duration of the trial.
