Nicole's Community Support Iโ€™m Nicole, a retired therapist and devoted dog lover. I provide caring companionship for your fur babies when you can't ๐Ÿซถ
(1)

Here to support our community through free mental health resources, while also offering FREE in-home companionship for small dogs. After years of working with individuals in a counselling capacity, I am now unable to work in the community due to severe disability. I strongly believe that we are all here for a reason and that each one of us has a purpose. My purpose has always been to be kind, compassionate and to help where I can. I'm here to to share wisdom, love & thought provoking quotes :-)

Exploring Anger: 8 Deep Journalling Prompts

1. Where does anger live in my body?
Describe the physical sensations, temperature, or movement of your anger. What happens when you let yourself stay with that feeling instead of pushing it away?

2. What message might my anger be trying to send me?

Beneath the surface, is there a need that feels unheard, a boundary crossed, or an injustice unacknowledged?

3. How did my family express or suppress anger when I was growing up?
Reflect on how that shaped your comfort level with anger now. What patterns do you carry from them?

4. When I feel anger rise, what am I truly afraid of losing?
Explore whether the anger protects something softer, such as sadness, fear, or longing.

5. If my anger could speak freely without judgment, what would it say?
Let it have a voice on the page. Donโ€™t censor. Just listen.

6. How do I currently relate to anger?
Do I experience it as an enemy, a warning light, or a teacher?
What might shift if you began to see anger as sacred information instead of something dangerous?

7. What are the consequences in my life of unexpressed anger?
Where has holding it in affected your health, relationships, or inner peace?

8. What would healthy, conscious anger look like for me?
Imagine expressing anger in a way that honours truth and love equally. What does that version of you look and feel like?
