🌸💕Another beautiful reason I love what I do… 🌸💕

My heart is so full. 💕🌸

This week I received this incredible message from a client who came to see me for just two fertility massages… and has now received her positive pregnancy test. 🌸

Every fertility journey is different, and there are many factors involved in achieving a pregnancy. I never claim that massage alone creates this outcome. But I do believe in giving the body the best possible environment to thrive by improving circulation, reducing tension, supporting pelvic health, and calming the nervous system.

Being trusted to walk alongside women during one of the most emotional journeys of their lives is something I never take for granted.

Messages like this remind me why I started Bloom all those years ago. 🌸

To my beautiful client—thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. Wishing you the healthiest, happiest pregnancy ahead. 🌸💕

If you’re on your own fertility journey and are looking for natural, supportive care to complement your medical team or your conception plans, I’d love to support you too.

🌸 There is always hope.

🎙️ I’m excited to share that I was recently a guest on the Perimenopause Health Podcast with the wonderful Anastasia Bennett!

It was such a privilege to sit down with Anastasia, a Registered Clinical Nutritionist and passionate women’s health educator, to talk about a topic that I believe deserves far more attention…

✨ The missing piece in perimenopause: pelvic health.

We explored how the health of your pelvis, abdomen and surrounding tissues can have a profound impact on how you feel during perimenopause. We discussed:
🌸 Why pelvic health is often overlooked
🌸 The effects of scar tissue from C-sections, hysterectomies and endometriosis surgery
🌸 How specialised abdominal massage may support comfort, mobility and wellbeing
🌸 Why taking a whole-body approach to women’s health matters

As someone who has lived through endometriosis, fertility struggles and now perimenopause, this conversation is incredibly close to my heart. My hope is that it gives women another avenue to explore and reminds them that they don’t have to simply “put up with” feeling unwell.

A huge thank you to Anastasia for creating such an informative and supportive space for women and for inviting me to share my passion.

✨ One of the greatest compliments I can receive… ✨

This week, I’ve welcomed back several beautiful women who first came to me for fertility massage when they were trying to conceive their first baby.

Now they’re back… hoping for baby number two or three. 💕

It always makes me smile because so many women tell me, “I just want to do what worked the first time.”

While every fertility journey is unique and no treatment can guarantee pregnancy, there’s something incredibly reassuring about returning to the care and routine that helped you feel your best the first time around.

Fertility massage is about creating the healthiest, most relaxed environment possible for your body—supporting circulation, reducing tension, improving pelvic mobility, and encouraging your body to function as optimally as it can.

Being trusted again for such an important chapter in a family’s story is something I never take for granted.

To every woman who has returned with hope for another little one… thank you for trusting me with your journey once again. It truly is an honour. 🌸

If you’re beginning your fertility journey or thinking about growing your family again, I’d love to support you.

I believe this is what I experienced today! It really is a thing! Can you relate?
Just know that we should not consider this pain as normal and live with it and there is something that may be an option to help you or someone you know who suffers with the excruciating pain that is endometriosis.
I would love to help you if you experience an endo flare. 🌸💕

Today was a reminder I never expected to have.

For the first time in nearly 22 years, I experienced the kind of period pain that stopped me in my tracks. The pain was so intense I was vomiting, needed pain relief, and had to sleep for a couple of hours before I could continue with my day.

It took me right back to a place I know far too well.

And it reminded me exactly why I do what I do.

So many women are told that agonising period pain is “just part of being a woman.” It isn’t. Pain that leaves you curled up, vomiting, missing work, cancelling plans, or unable to function should never be dismissed as normal.

Whether it’s endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic congestion, scar tissue, or another pelvic health issue, your body is telling you something deserves attention.

I know firsthand how debilitating this pain can be, and that’s why I’m so passionate about giving women options, hope, and support. While there’s rarely a quick fix, there are ways to help your body function more optimally and, for many women, reduce the severity of symptoms.

Today’s experience has only strengthened my purpose.

If you’re silently battling period pain every month, please know this: you don’t have to just “put up with it.” You deserve to be heard, supported, and to know that there may be another path forward. 🌸💕

🌸💕Sometimes it’s the little wins that remind me why I do what I do.

Today I welcomed back an Otago University student who travelled up from Wellington for her second treatment.

She’d been experiencing significant period pain and is currently investigating whether endometriosis may be contributing to her symptoms.

After just one massage two weeks ago, she shared something that made my day…

✨ “I had no cramping with my period.”

Every woman’s body is different, and results will vary, but hearing stories like this gives me so much hope. My goal is always to help reduce pain, improve pelvic mobility, and support the body naturally, so women can get back to living their lives.

Painful periods shouldn’t simply be accepted as “normal.” If you’re struggling each month, it’s worth exploring all of your support options.

Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey. 🌸

After a miscarriage, the world often moves on…
But a mother’s heart doesn’t.

There is support.
There is healing.
And you don’t have to walk this journey alone. 🌸💕

Today I had the honour of providing a complimentary massage for a beautiful mum through the Miscarriage charity.

Pregnancy loss is something no woman should have to experience alone. Yet for so many, once the miscarriage is over, the support often fades while the emotional and physical healing is only just beginning.

It was a privilege to offer a safe space where she could simply stop, breathe, and allow herself to be cared for.

As a therapist specialising in women’s health, fertility, and pelvic wellbeing, I also see the importance of supporting the body after miscarriage. Gentle abdominal and pelvic massage can help encourage relaxation, improve circulation, reduce tension and restrictions within the abdomen, and support the body as it heals. For women hoping to conceive again, this work aims to create the healthiest environment possible for a future pregnancy.

Healing after miscarriage isn’t just about the physical recovery—it’s about acknowledging the loss, nurturing the whole woman, and reminding her that she matters too.

If you or someone you know has experienced a miscarriage, please know there is support available through the Massage After Miscarriage charity, and you don’t have to walk this journey alone.

To every woman who has experienced pregnancy loss: your loss matters, your grief is valid, and you deserve to be held with compassion.🌸💕

🌸 💕Did you know massage may help support teens who experience painful periods?

Today I had the privilege of treating a young woman struggling with period cramps, and it reminded me just how many teenagers think painful periods are something they simply have to put up with.

While period pain can be common, it shouldn’t stop you from going to school, playing sport, or enjoying life.

At Bloom Massage, I use targeted abdominal techniques to help relax the body, ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and support pelvic health. Every treatment is tailored to the individual and designed to help them feel more comfortable and confident in their body.

If you have a daughter, granddaughter, niece, or know a teen who struggles every month, know that there are supportive, natural options available.

Because no young woman should have to suffer in silence. 🌸💕
