Meet Kath 👋

Kath has been an integral part of Physio Flex since the clinic was established and has helped care for our local community for many years.

As a Senior Physiotherapist, Kath holds postgraduate qualifications in Manual Therapy and is also a registered Acupuncturist. She has a special interest in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of spinal conditions, as well as equestrian injuries.

Kath's wealth of experience, clinical expertise, and caring approach have helped countless patients get back to doing what they love.

Sophia and Carrie had a fantastic time visiting our local 60+ community group last week! 👏

It was great to see such an awesome turnout and so much engagement from everyone who came along.

They chatted about staying active, reducing the risk of falls, and shared simple but effective upper and lower body strengthening and balance exercises that can help maintain confidence, independence, and mobility.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We love getting out into our community and helping keep Helensville moving! 💙

Meet Alisha 👋

Next up in our Meet the Physio series is Alisha!

Alisha is an experienced musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Registered Hand Therapist with a special interest in hand injuries and complex shoulder conditions. She uses evidence-based treatment to help reduce pain, restore function, and get you back to doing what you enjoy.

One of Alisha's specialised skills is designing and fabricating custom thermoplastic splints right here in the clinic. These are individually moulded to each patient and can be used to protect injuries, support healing after surgery or fractures, improve function, and assist with a wide range of hand, wrist, finger, and thumb conditions.

From everyday aches and sports injuries to more complex hand conditions, Alisha is passionate about helping patients regain confidence and function through personalised care.

⏰ Last week of the school holidays!

Before the school rush begins again, now's a great time to get those aches, pains and niggling injuries checked out.

🏃‍♀️ We’re halfway through the winter sports season, and with cross country starting in Term 3, its an ideal time for a Physio check-in for our young sports stars!
