St Andrew's Village is an independent, charitable trust offering quality retirement living and residential care in the beautiful Eastern Bays suburb of Glendowie, Auckland. Our retirement living and residential care facilities are located in beautiful spacious gardens overlooking the Tamaki Estuary.

We were delighted to welcome a group of Year 0 and 1 students from Saint Kentigern Girls’ School to St Andrew’s Village this week—what we hope will be the first of many visits.
Organised in partnership with our Pastoral Care team and led by their teacher, Alley Powell, the girls came to experience “service in action”. With the support of our wonderful SAV Craft Group, they added cheerful pom-poms to pre-knitted scarves—creating something meaningful together for others in need.
These scarves will be gifted during their next visit to Presbyterian Support Northern, to share with families they support.
The morning was filled with smiles as the girls also shared their learning—showcasing their maths skills, reading a story, and finishing with a beautiful song.
A heartfelt thank you to our residents and staff involved who helped make the morning so special.

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming prospective residents to an exclusive Glen Firth launch evening.
With delicious dishes from our restaurant, great conversation, and a beautiful setting, it was a memorable occasion — and just the beginning.

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mahesh Muralidhar , National Party candidate for Tāmaki, to St Andrew’s Village.
Mahesh spent time meeting with residents, enjoying conversations and sharing insights, creating a wonderful sense of engagement across our community.

👷‍♂️ Hard hats on at Glen Firth! 👷‍♀️🏗️

It was a real highlight to get out on site recently and see the momentum building at Glen Firth, our upcoming villa development at St Andrew’s Village. The progress on these homes is already looking impressive, and it’s exciting to watch the vision take shape.

Our site walk included (CEO), (Board Chair), Sarah Hipkiss (Finance Committee Chair), .ensor (Strategy, Innovation & People), and our newly onboard Board member Dr Manoj Patel (Clinical Governance Subcommittee).

We can’t wait to share more as we move closer to unveiling these spectacular villas to prospective residents. ✨🏡

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Kalandra Education Group and delegates from Nanjing Medical University to St Andrew’s Village.
Hosted by , our CEO, and Carmen, our Director of Care and Operations, our visitors enjoyed a tour of our Care Suites and Care Centre, and a look around the many amenities our village offers.
It was a pleasure sharing how we deliver aged care at our village, and our guests were grateful for the warm welcome and the insights they’ll be taking back with them.
Moments like these — connecting, learning and sharing best practice — are truly rewarding.
