Fountains staff remember Jim fondly as a lovely humble man, a brilliant piper who will be sadly missed.

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of life member and former Pipe Major, Jim Jamieson.

Jim’s dedication, leadership, and contribution to the band over the past 30 years will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.

On behalf of the band, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Jim’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

Jim, thank you for your years of service, your commitment to the band, the friendships you built, and the many memories you leave behind. Your legacy will live on for years to come.

Rest easy, Jim. You will be sadly missed.
