👋🏻 Meet the Staff Monday! 👋🏻

This week, we’d love you to meet Rebecca — owner of Wairau Pharmacy and one of our wonderful Pharmacists!

Rebecca has been part of the Wairau Pharmacy team for nearly 20 years, and has proudly owned the business for 18 of those years!

💬 A few words from Rebecca:

“I love being part of our local community and really enjoy seeing our regular, loyal customers and familiar faces coming through the door.

My favourite part of working at Wairau Pharmacy is the staff I have on board! They genuinely care about our community, and are good listeners who provide great advice.

I’m also proud of the wide selection of products we have available at Wairau Pharmacy. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we’ll do our best to source it from our wholesalers and get it in as soon as possible!

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, including tramping and camping. There’s nothing better than getting out into nature to recharge the batteries!”

After nearly two decades at Wairau Pharmacy, Rebecca has built wonderful relationships with so many of our customers and is passionate about making sure everyone who walks through our doors feels listened to, cared for and supported.

👋🏻 Meet the Staff Monday 👋🏻

This week you're meeting Kelsi! She's our Retail Manager and one of our Beauty Therapists, and she's been part of the Wairau Pharmacy team for 11 years! Get to know her a little better with her staff spotlight below!

💬 Hi, I'm Kelsi!

I've been at Wairau Pharmacy for 11 years. I started in 2015 as a Retail Assistant and in 2016, opened our Beauty Therapy Room. Then, in 2023, I became Retail Manager!

In 2011 and 2012, I studied Beauty Therapy and Spa Therapies at the National School of Aesthetics, where I was honored to receive the Student of the Year award for Spa Therapies.

Since joining Wairau Pharmacy, I've also completed the New Zealand Certificate in Pharmacy (Introduction to Pharmacy Practice) – Level 3.

My favourite part of working at Wairau Pharmacy is interacting with our customers and helping them feel their best, whether that's by recommending supplements from the shop or treating them to a beauty therapy treatment.

🌟 My go-to product is Buccaline! It's great at this time of year to help protect against the bacterial complications that can follow a cold.

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me spending time with my kids, reading a good book, or heading down to the Sounds with my family for a spot of fishing.

Kelsi is one of the pharmacy's most familiar and friendly faces. Her knowledge, caring nature, and friendly smile make her a favourite with our customers, and we're incredibly grateful to have her as part of our team for the past 11 years 💚

Thanks to Buccaline, you can have up to 3 months protection against the bacterial complications of colds and other illnesses! It can also be taken monthly for people who are more susceptible to being unwell!
