This Daffodil Day, we’re showing our support for the thousands of New Zealanders affected by cancer.

Every donation, big or small, helps the Cancer Society provide support, information and care for people living with cancer, while also funding vital cancer research and prevention programmes.

Today marked a significant and special milestone for Churchill Hospital as we gathered for a land blessing ahead of construction commencing on our new hospital extension.

We were honoured to be joined by representatives of Rangitāne o Wairau, Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua and Wairau Pou Manaaki, alongside Churchill Hospital staff, to acknowledge the whenua and seek blessings for the journey ahead.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who shared in this important occasion. We value the opportunity to begin this next chapter with respect, connection and acknowledgement of the whenua and the people who hold mana within this place.

With the blessing now complete, we look forward to seeing the extension build commence and to the future it will help create for our community.

The Picton Flower Ladies are a long‑running volunteer group (over 30 years) who hand‑make buttonholes and posies to welcome cruise ship passengers arriving into Picton. They greet every ship in port during the cruise season with flowers AND smiles, so it was awesome to treat them to a morning tea shout courtesy of Churchill Private Hospital 💓

This winter, our amazing staff got getting behind the Foster Hope Pyjama Drive by donating brand-new pyjamas for children in care.

Something as simple as a new pair of pyjamas can make a huge difference. Sadly, many children entering care have never had a brand-new pair of their very own. By donating cosy, warm pyjamas, we're helping provide comfort, dignity, and a little bit of hope during the colder months.

We're proud to support Foster Hope - Marlborough and help ensure children in care have something snuggly to keep them toasty warm this winter. ❄️🩵
