Rugby Season Wrap-Up 2026 🏉

What a season it’s been!

A massive congratulations to all the players, coaches, volunteers and clubs on a fantastic year. We’re proud to have been involved with so many teams across the Waikato (and even Malaysia!) this season.

Every club is different, and we are proud to have supported teams in a range of capacities throughout the year, from full season physiotherapy support through to match day cover. Thanks for having us as part of your season.

A huge shout out to our physio team for all the early mornings, late nights, weekends and hours spent keeping players on the field. The unsung heroes of club rugby… in our bias opinion 👀

Marinus is Back at Vigour Physio!

We’re excited to welcome back Marinus du Preez as Senior Physio & Clinical Director, after spending the past few years living and working in Sydney.

During his time in Australia, he worked with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions while undertaking doctoral research through the University of Sydney focused on improving recovery after whiplash and neck injuries.

Marinus has a special interest in neck pain, headaches, concussion, vestibular conditions and whiplash, while continuing to treat a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries for people of all ages.

He is looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces in the community and welcoming new patients to the clinic.

We are delighted to have her part of the team and look forward to the positive impact she will make in the community.✨
