With nearly 40 years experience between them, Jono and Jacqui are the heart of Gibson Funerals. Looking after families like they would their own.

Jono used to race Superbikes, is an impressive drummer and is happiest on the water rod in hand.

Jacqui is an avid swimmer, loves an opshop and like Jono also has her motorbike license!

Charlie, well, he is more than happy with a good pat and cube of cheese.

A night to remember.

On Thursday we officially celebrated the opening of Gibson Funerals. It was a privilege to open our doors to those that have supported us from the beginning. We are so grateful to everyone that came along and who believed in our vision.

A special mention to Mike Pettit Waipā Mayor who officially opened The River Room which will now serve our community. A space to gather, remember and farewell loved ones. Designed to leave a lasting impression.

The wait is over...

We can now finally reveal what we have been working so hard on.

Introducing - The River Room 🤎

Our brand new space was officially opened last night. Inspired by the Waikato River which flows through the heart of Cambridge, The River Room is a space to gather, remember and say goodbye.

We cannot wait to show you more over the coming weeks. Our families deserve a premium space to farewell their loved ones in.

We hope everyone is enjoying their Matariki. Among the cluster of stars that make up Matariki, Pōhutukawa connects us to the deceased, the ones we have lost.

During this period, it is an opportunity to look into the past and acknowledge those we have lost, holding space for grief.

Sharing kai and stories together is how we will be spending this Matariki, we hope you find some time to do the same ✨️
