✨️ THE BIGGEST TRANSFORMATION HERE ISN’T THE ONE YOU CAN SEE.
The woman on the left had no idea who she could become.
The woman on the right found out. 💪✨️
This wasn’t built through punishment, extremes or living in the gym. I train strategically four days a week, nourish my body well and prioritise recovery—because transformation should add to your life, not take it over.
Well into perimenopause, I was struggling with fatigue, fluctuating moods, hot sweats and abdominal fat that wouldn’t shift.
Eating less and training harder—the approach I had always relied on—was no longer working. I wanted to understand what was changing and learn how to work with my body instead of constantly fighting against it.
As our hormones change, our bodies change too. But this stage of life doesn’t have to mean surrendering our strength, energy, confidence or how good we feel within ourselves.
And this is why it matters.
As oestrogen declines, bone loss can accelerate. Alongside the natural ageing process, women may also experience a reduction in muscle mass and strength, changes in metabolism, and a greater tendency to store fat around the abdomen.
These changes are not simply about appearance. Muscle and bone influence how well we move, our balance and stability, our metabolic health, our resilience and our ability to remain active and independent as we age.
This is why strength training becomes more important—not less.
Combined with quality nutrition, adequate protein and intentional recovery, it gives the body the stimulus and resources it needs to maintain muscle, strengthen bones and continue adapting through every stage of life.
This isn’t about trying to force our changing bodies to remain the same.
It’s about understanding what they need now—and working with them to build strength for the years ahead.
We can learn to work with our bodies instead of constantly fighting against them.
We can become stronger.
Move better.
Feel more energised.
Protect our muscles and bones.
Feel confident in our changing bodies—and excited about who we’re becoming.
I’m not selling bodybuilding. I’m showing women what’s possible when we stop believing our best years are behind us.
Because this was never only about the abs.
It was about the woman underneath them—the one who discovered her strength, backed herself and completely changed what she believed was possible.
She was always in there. 💖
And perhaps yours is too.
