Busy energy month 💕👌🏼
The astrology matters more than the view.
This eclipse sits at the end of Leo, on the South Node. It is the first Leo eclipse since 2019. Think back to what was ending or beginning for you that year, because this one picks up the same thread.
South Node eclipses take things away. That sounds harsh. It rarely is. What leaves is usually the thing you had already outgrown but kept carrying because letting go felt like failure. A role you perform. A version of yourself people got used to. Something you kept doing well past the point it fed you.
Leo governs the part of you that wants to be seen. So the question this week is simple and uncomfortable. Where are you performing instead of leading? Where are you making yourself smaller so someone else stays comfortable?
And here is the part I want you to sit with. An eclipse is not one day. What opens on Aug 12 keeps unfolding for the next 18 months. If you have been telling yourself this year got away from you, it did not. This is your starting line, not your deadline.
The portal stays open until Aug 28, when a lunar eclipse in Pisces closes it. That one is about release. Between those two dates, pay attention to what falls away without you forcing it.
One thing worth knowing. This eclipse does not land the same for everyone. It hits a different house of your chart depending on your age and your rising sign, and that house is the area of life it rewrites. Career for one person, home for another, relationships for someone else.
