Seeing the menopause topic in the news is helpful for our cause, and especially good when its advising that the oestrogen gel will be funded soon. And it's great that they include women's real life experience in there (yes my quote was included!!)
Interesting that the title includes "end in sight" as loss of vision was one of my symptoms at the height of my symptoms!! It is astounding how may symptoms are related to the menopause, and quite often wrongly diagnosed.
Being informed and aware of what we need to support ourselves is empowering.
A Wairarapa GP is pleased that Pharmac is considering funding oestradiol gel, but says the decision is “tardy” and has caused “unneeded stress”.
