According to Dr. Ezekiel Emanue (Bioethicist, health policy expert, oncologist, professor, writer, cyclist and chocolatier) there are six key habits that can make a real difference to our health and wellbeing.
Over the next few weeks, we'll explore each oneāand share how our Socially Speaking community puts them into practice.
Wellness Habit #1: Move in a way you enjoy.
First up... movement.
Not because you have to exercise, but because finding a way to move that you genuinely enjoy makes it much more likely you'll keep doing it.
Movement doesn't have to mean going to the gym.
It can be a game of pickleball, a walk, a dance classāanything you'll keep coming back to.
For some of our group members, pickleball ticks all the boxes. Thanks so much to Pickleball Canterbury for supporting our young people - it's so handy they are right next door to us.
