Floatation therapy is unrivalled in it’s ability to Relax and Recover the Mind, Body and Spirit. It involves lying effortlessly for just under an hour in a solution of Epsom Salts and pure water set at body temperate, inside a large ‘pod’ designed to restrict any light and sound. This uniquely tranquil environment free from gravity is like nothing you will have experienced since you were floating in the womb. Lying weightless in silence and darkness, your nervous, skeletal and muscular systems can surrender to total relaxation. Floating restricts external stress factors that are constantly bombarding our senses and attribute to approximately 90% of our physical and mental energy consumption. The body’s natural response to sensory deprivation is to gently slide into the meditative and creative, theta brain state. After a short period of time within the pod you cannot tell where your body ends and the water begins.
