John Berry from Levin has been awarded life membership of PSNZ. John joins a small and distinguished group - only 3 other members have life membership.

John's career demonstrates a significant and exceptional level of service to the pharmacy profession in New Zealand, marked by high-level leadership, educational contributions, and professional innovation.

John joined the Society in 1954 after qualifying at the end of 1953. As a dedicated pharmacist with over 60 years of involvement in community pharmacy, his career spanned from traditional extemporaneous compounding to modern clinical and retail management, and was marked by significant leadership roles within national regulatory and professional bodies.

John says he is overwhelmed by the award and is very pleased to accept the honour. Congrats John from PSNZ!
