7 DAYS OF EATING IN A CALORIE DEFICIT…
I wanted to show you what a real week in a calorie deficit can look like for many women because spoiler alert… it isn’t 7 days of perfect eating! 😂
DAY 1: I ate a little less than usual thanks to a sleep in & some higher protein meals
DAY 2: Pretty much a standard day of eating. Nothing exciting, just getting on with it
DAY 3: My period arrived and yep… I was HUNGRIER 🙃
DAY 4: A really good day of eating with plenty of protein and meals that kept me satisfied
DAY 5: Lunch out meant a higher calorie meal, and then my evening treats went a little off track too🍫😂
DAY 6: I woke up feeling a little unwell, so this was very much a “bits and pieces all day” kind of day
DAY 7: A great high-protein day, BUT I was much hungrier after doing a high-intensity workout that morning
I was super excited because I stayed within my deficit every single day. And guess what my weight loss was for the week?
200g!!
Yep, just 200g 😅
But THIS is what being a woman and trying to lose weight can look like - periods, hunger, sickness, meals out and days that don’t go to plan will happen
Sometimes you can do everything “right” and the scales still won’t give you the result you hoped for
But that doesn’t mean it isn’t working! Keep doing this week after week and those small losses will add up.
You don’t need a perfect week to lose weight - you need consistency over the long term. ❤️
Because the goal isn’t to lose weight quickly, it’s to find a way of eating that creates a deficit while still allowing you to live your life.
Slow progress is still progress
200g is still progress
Consistency beats perfection ❤️
