Healthcare works best when everyone is working together.

Our specialists regularly collaborate with colleagues across the Intus network, bringing together different areas of expertise to support each patient's care. We also work closely with GPs, ensuring referrals, investigations, treatment plans, and follow-up care are well coordinated.

It's a connected approach that helps make the patient journey simpler and more seamless.

A colonoscopy isn't just a test for bowel cancer, it's one of the most effective ways to investigate ongoing digestive symptoms.

Changes in bowel habits, bleeding, unexplained abdominal pain, or persistent diarrhoea are all reasons your doctor may recommend one. During the procedure, polyps can often be removed before they may develop into something more serious.

If you're experiencing bowel symptoms, timely investigation can make a real difference. Speak to your GP, or self refer to Intus for specialist care.

Endoscopy procedures such as colonoscopy and gastroscopy aren’t just about diagnosing problems, they can also help prevent them.

During a colonoscopy, specialists can identify and remove polyps that may develop into bowel cancer. A gastroscopy can help detect and assess conditions affecting the oesophagus and stomach, including reflux and ulcers.

Early investigation gives patients clarity, peace of mind, and the opportunity to address issues before they become more serious.
