♿ Everytime the smallest changes make the biggest difference.

Yesterday I had the privilege of helping the team at Hōhepa Canterbury by installing a smooth transition over a drainage channel at their Barrington Street, Christchurch site, making it easier for wheelchair users, mobility scooters, walkers and staff to move safely and comfortably.

Hōhepa does incredible work supporting adults with intellectual disabilities to live full, connected and independent lives, and it was a pleasure to play a small part in that mission.

It reminded me that accessibility isn’t always about major renovations.

Sometimes it’s simply removing…

• that annoying bump at the front door
• the awkward garage lip
• the threshold your walker catches on
• the drainage channel your wheelchair has to fight every single day

Those little obstacles might seem insignificant to most people, but they can quietly take away confidence, independence and freedom.

At TheRampMan.NZ, we’re passionate about removing those barriers. I have been there!!!

From wheelchair and mobility access ramps to threshold transitions, drainage channels, driveway crossings and custom access solutions, every project is about making everyday life a little easier.
