Changing of the guard
At 69 and 47 years as a physio, Richard is retiring, putting the practice in younger hands.
Keroles Abousif will be taking over the practice. Keroles moved to New Zealand in 2007 after growing up in a small town near Cairo, Egypt.
He attended Timaru Boys High School and completed his Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy at Otago University.
Keroles has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine and post- surgical rehabilitation. Sports wise he has a particular interest in rugby having provided physio services to Timaru Boys high first XV, club and South Canterbury rugby teams, also to basketball and volley ball.
Wendy will continue working in her current role, Richard will be involved as a mentor and with on-going staff training.
Physiotherapy Associates will continue to as a local, community based practice and looks forward to offering continuing, innovative and high standards in physiotherapy.
Many thanks for your support over the years.
