Stitches have dissolved, and surgical wound healing. In another week or so I'll be able to start scar massage work to reduce bulk. While my finger is no longer locking, I still have pain in my finger and the cyst in the tendon as it wasn't removed.

Long term, it's best to move from clinical work to something else. Once plans are sorted, I'll post details. Enjoy the last days of autumn and stay warm and dry.

It's about resilience and adaptation. Due to ongoing mechanical issues with my hands, full time remedial and oncology massage is no longer a sensible career option. So what does one do with the knowledge gained and used? Well, I'm going to combine all my knowledge, from massage and beauty therapies' training, plus experience to create some foundational beauty courses and massage (self care plus for those in caring roles).

The development of these courses and a new business name will be undertaken while recovering from hand surgery which gives me the time to be thorough and research the latest supporting information. This is an exciting new chapter for me that I'm eager to share.

Thank you everyone for your support, both personally and professionally, over the last 4 years. Unfortunately I am closing my business soon due to ongoing hand issues that require surgery in a few months' time. I have appreciated each and every person that I have had the pleasure to work with in their health and well-being journey.
