As Matariki draws closer, we’ll be sharing simple ways to honour this special time.
Matariki invites us to pause and reconnect.
A time to gather with loved ones, honour the natural world, and welcome renewal as a new year begins. ✨
How are you choosing to acknowledge Matariki this year?

We’re here to guide you through each step with care, warmth, and understanding.

Every life leaves a different imprint, and every farewell can honour that.
We work alongside families and whānau to create a service that reflects the moments, memories and meaning that mattered most.
Because a goodbye should feel as personal and unique as the life it celebrates.

A question many families ask in the early moments — and one we approach with care.
Take your time. When you feel ready, you can reach out to a funeral director you trust. From there, you’ll be gently guided through what comes next, with someone there to listen, support, and walk alongside you every step of the way.
If you have any questions, you’re always welcome to share them below — we’re here to help.

Some days the weight is heavy.
Some days it softens, just a little.
Grief doesn’t follow a straight path — it moves in waves, teaching us how to carry love in a new way, at our own pace.
If there’s a quote, line, or piece of poetry that has brought you comfort, we invite you to share it in the comments. 🤍

Mother’s Day can hold many emotions.
For some, it’s a day of gratitude and celebration.
For others, it’s a quiet day of remembering.
Today, we honour all mothers — those beside us, those remembered, and those whose love continues to guide us in unseen ways. Their influence lives on in the stories we tell, the values we carry, and the lives they helped shape.
If this day feels tender, know you’re not alone. We’re holding space for you.🤍

We are proud to support this much‑loved Dunedin event, held each year in beautiful Rotary Park. Trees for Families is a simple, meaningful way to mark life’s important moments — whether you’re planting a tree for Mum on Mother’s Day, celebrating a graduation or new arrival, remembering a loved one, or giving something lasting back to Ōtepoti.
The event takes place on Sunday 10 May (Mother’s Day), 11am–12pm and is a swift, family‑friendly hour outdoors. With fewer than 20 trees remaining, registrations are filling fast!
🌿 Trees are $25 each
