Clinical Massage Therapy in Dunedin

Within the clinic we have over 32 years experience in clinical massage therapy. Over the years we have assisted many clients ranging from Elite athletes to weekend pavement pounders, office administrators, pregnant mums, the sedentary to the very active. Each of these clients have similar goals, and that is to get their body moving as freely as it can and do so

being pain free. Yvette Latta
I established Hands on Health -Latta Massage Therapy in 2005 after graduating with a diploma in Massage Therapy with distinction from the Canterbury college of Natural Medicine. I have been very fortunate to have travelled with the job I love to do which has taken me to the London and Beijing Olympics, track and field World champs in South Korea and Berlin with Athletics New Zealand, and numerous World Champs and World Cups with Rowing New Zealand. Day to day I still get a real buzz working with my regular clients, and seeing our new clients walk out of a treatment more upright and reduced pain. Each year I enjoy attending courses to further my knowledge, and will continue to do so to get the best for our clients. Emma Head
I graduated from the University of Teesside (UK) in 2005 with a BSc(Hons) in Sports Therapy. Since graduating my main focuse has been on clinical massage therapy, helping the individual to recover, repair and learn new strategies to help their body be the best it can be. I am always looking to improve on my skill set. I have additional qualifications and experience in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Pregnancy Massage and Relaxtion/Stress Management. Inspiration starts with watching.

Confidence grows by trying

The Commonwealth Games are more than medals... they're about inspiration.

As the Glasgow Commonwealth Games begin, why not turn the excitement into an opportunity for your family?

💙 set the alarm for early morning viewing
💙 explore the 10 different sports at these games Ask your child, "Which sport would you love to try?"
💙 Head outside and have a go—kick a ball, play a game, create an obstacle course, ride a bike, swim, or go for a family walk.

Children don't need to become elite athletes to benefit from movement. They simply need opportunities to discover what they enjoy.

Sport teaches so much more than fitness:

Confidence

Friendships

Resilience

Teamwork

Goal setting

A love of being active for life

Celebrate our kiwi athletes—and encourage the next generation to discover the magic of moving their bodies.

Matariki morning sunshine ☀️🌞 Soak it up, and to those who are still working today Thankyou.
Spend 5–15 minutes outdoors in natural morning light, ideally within the first hour or two after waking. Morning light helps set your body's internal clock, improving energy, mood, sleep, hormone regulation and long-term health. Even on cloudy days, outdoor light is many times brighter than typical indoor lighting and provides an important signal to your brain that it's daytime.

My algorithms are working well for me & 'fed' me and my Health Coaching hat this.
Worth sharing
Ultra processed food + why they are addictive + slow burn to ill health
UK slant on this, talks about concerns on labelling, govt legislation .......
so very applicable in NZ
To simplify part of this right down, the real foods do not come in a packet......no labelling required
