🌿 A little update from our team
We’re currently experiencing some staff shortages due to unforeseen circumstances and illness.
We’re doing everything we can to continue providing safe, quality care to our patients. However, you may notice that appointments are a little harder to come by, wait times may be longer than usual, and our team may be working under extra pressure.
Please be reassured that all urgent appointment requests will be triaged by our nurse daily. Our nurse will assess your needs and help determine the most appropriate care and timeframe for your appointment.
We really appreciate your patience, kindness and understanding while we work through this period. ❤️
🤧 Flu season is here
With winter respiratory illnesses continuing to circulate, please remember:
• If you are feeling unwell with flu or respiratory symptoms, please stay home where possible and avoid spreading it to others.
• Common flu symptoms can include fever, chills, body aches, headache, cough, sore throat and feeling extremely tired.
• Rest and plenty of fluids are important while you recover.
• If you need to attend the medical centre while you have respiratory symptoms, please let our reception team know when booking or arriving so we can help protect our other patients and staff.
• The 2026 flu vaccine has been updated to better match the influenza strains circulating this season and remains the best protection against serious flu illness.
• Many people are eligible for a free flu vaccination, including people aged 65+, pregnant people and those with certain long-term health conditions.
If your symptoms are becoming worse, you are having difficulty breathing, experiencing chest pain, or you are concerned about your health, please seek medical advice promptly.
Thank you for your patience and understanding — our team really appreciates it. 💙
