🎉BIG NEWS!

You can now work with Richelle through Southern Cross Health Insurance and Southern Cross EAP! 🧡

Richelle is our Body-Mind Therapy Practitioner and draws on her training in Health Coaching, Somatic ExperiencingÂŽ, yoga therapy and pain reprocessing principles.

Her coaching process helps make sense of how stress, your nervous system, health behaviours, emotions and physical symptoms interact. Together, you’ll identify barriers that may be getting in the way of your wellbeing and develop sustainable strategies that support meaningful, embodied and values-aligned change in your life.

Whether you’re navigating stress, burnout, persistent pain, life transitions, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again, she’d love to support you.

If you’re covered through Southern Cross or have access to EAP through your workplace, get in touch at [email protected] to see if you’re eligible for 3 wellbeing coaching sessions.

Richelle also offers a free 20min Compatibility Call to see if this approach is the right fit for you. Book through our website, link in bio.

✨ And if you didn’t know, you can also access her services through OCP EAP. Check with your employer to see if it’s available to you.

We’re pleased to share that The Therapy Project, in partnership with Ara Psychology, is now offering an ACC-approved Trauma-Informed Yoga (TIY) group for Sensitive Claims clients in Tāhuna Queenstown.

This 8-week therapeutic group is designed as an adjunct to 1:1 ACC counselling for adult kiritaki with an accepted Tailored Support to Wellbeing Package (A or B). The program supports nervous system regulation, body awareness, and empowerment through gentle, trauma-informed movement.

Key details:
• Fully funded by ACC Sensitive Claims (no cost to clients)
• 8-week program (60 minutes per session)
• In-person (women’s and men’s groups) and online options available
• No prior yoga experience required
• Dual-facilitated by a registered mental health clinician and Richelle Muscroft, certified IAYT yoga therapist and SEP™.

The group is grounded in trauma theory and current neuroscience, with a strong emphasis on choice, agency, and safety. It is designed to complement ongoing talk therapy by offering practical somatic tools that participants can integrate into daily life.
