MYTH: Sitting up nice and tall and staying in that static position all day long is the "perfect posture".
FACT: The general gist of the current research is that posture variability is much more important!
Therefore the key is to change your postures regularly throughout the day, you can do this by taking short breaks to get up out of your desk to stand, stretch and go for a short walk.
