Up to bake #68 without making the same recipe twice!

This week’s baking went to Te Ara Manapou in Hastings.

Found this handwritten recipe for ‘Brads’ Magic Slice inside a notebook of magazine & newspaper cuttings.

Confirmed it was Kim’s handwriting but she tells me she would never had made it because the slice contains raisins!

Swapped in white chocolate 🍫 & dry cranberries… delicious 😋 thanks B for the idea. You could swap for dried apricots too.

Next time I would use an entire packet of sweet biscuits 250g & increase butter to 100g. Cook time in my oven was 28 mins.
