Heather Mareikura (Taranaki, Te Āti Awa, Ngāti Ruanui, Ngā Ruahine Rangi, Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi, Te Āti Haunui-a-Pāpārangi, Ngāti Rangi, Ngāti Tūwharetoa, Ngāti Pākehā) a Māori healer, artist, and educator — and an unapologetic weaver of all things wairua. With a heart full of aroha and hands that create magic, she blends rongoā, toi Māori, and cultural wisdom to help others heal, grow, and glow. She speaks the three official languages of Aotearoa — Te Reo Māori, NZ Sign Language, and English — and uses them to connect with all kinds of beautiful souls. After decades working with rangatahi, she now brings her energy, humour, and healing vibes to adult education and wānanga spaces. Whether she’s brewing up rongoā balms, designing tarot and oracle decks, or holding space for deep kōrero, Heather does it all with whakapapa in her veins and wairua in her stride. Her kaupapa is all about realness, reconnection, and restoring the mana of our people — one healing, one karakia, or one drop of wairākau at a time.
