We want to take a moment to acknowledge the generosity of these wonderful businesses who have kindly supported and sponsored our upcoming Fundraising Quiz Night - 7pm, 1st July '26 at TET Stadium & Events Centre

We're a not-for-profit organisation - the only rest home in Inglewood and have been supporting the Inglewood Community for over 55 years.

All funds raised from this event will go towards the installation of Solar Panels here at our Home & Hospital facility - for a more sustainable future - so we can continue to provide this vital care for the Inglewood Community for generations to come.

What have we been up to at Marinoto lately? Plenty!

Our residents have been enjoying a wonderful variety of activities designed to keep minds active, bodies moving, and spirits high. From bowls, bingo, quizzes, cards, drives around our beautiful region, feeding the ducks and exercise sessions to talented entertainers, guest speakers, Age Concern Taranaki music and movement sessions, and our daily paper readings, there's always something happening around the home.

One of our favourite activities continues to be our regular bowls afternoons, including friendly matches with our friends from Kohatu Rest Home. There's always plenty of laughter, social connection, and a little healthy competition!

🐾 We also love our dog therapy visits, which never fail to bring smiles and lots of pats from residents and staff alike.

This year we're incredibly proud to be celebrating 55 years of serving the Inglewood community. Thank you to our residents, families, staff, volunteers, donors, community groups, and supporters who have been part of our journey. We couldn't have done it without you.

We're also looking forward to our Fundraising Quiz Night on Wednesday 1 July, 7pm at TET Stadium, raising funds towards solar panels for a more sustainable future at Marinoto.

There’s a new little resident stealing hearts at Marinoto 🐾💛

Thanks to the generosity of a kind lender, our residents have been enjoying the companionship of an animatronic cat - lovingly named Carmella by the residents themselves. Carmella purrs, meows, and moves just like a real cat - even rolling over for a tummy rub (without the risk of a bite or scratch).

From the moment Carmella arrived, you could see eyes light up and smiles appear as she interacted with everyone. The comfort, joy, and gentle companionship she brings has already made such a special impact throughout our home. AND she's very cheap to feed.

Today we are proud to celebrate INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY and honour our wonderful Nurses and their care, compassion, empathy and hard work.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s celebration. We loved coming together to recognise and appreciate the amazing nurses and care team members who make such a difference within our Marinoto family - as well as enjoying some delicious cake made by our wonderful cook.

Thank you also for the wonderful speeches shared by Denise, Roo and Bee as well as our staff, residents, and nurses. It was a lovely reminder of the compassion, commitment, and genuine connection that exists within our home.

Happy International Nurses Day to all nurses - thank you for all that you do, today and every day.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! 🌹🌷
Today we have celebrated all the incredible women who have nurtured, supported, guided and cared for others in so many different ways.

To all the mums, grandmothers, aunties, sisters, daughters, friends and caregivers - we hope you had a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, appreciation and connection - from all of us at Marinoto Home & Hospital Care.

We have many fantastic entertainers come and share their talents with us here and they're all so appreciated and bring so much joy. What we don't often see is the view from their perspective and here it is!
