I am Amy Williams a trained counsellor with a personal understanding of the p

ower of lived experience. I am a second generation New Zealand born kiwi, with multi-ethnic heritage. Born and raised in the North Island, though Southland has been my home for the past 12 years and there is nowhere else I would rather be. I have a background in youth work, faith ministry and community collaboration. I believe in each person's intrinsic ability to overcome hardship with the acceptance and guidance of safe and trusted support people. I aspire to help people feel empowered to live fulfilling and hope filled lives with courage. I am committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi by way of partnership, participation and protection working cross-culturally to bridge the gap between generations and cultural diversities. My work empowers clients to see their capacity to grow and move through challenges and change with openness and positive self-regard. I see people as the hero in their own story, regardless of where they have come from, what they have been through, or how hard the road is! I work from an ethically sound and safe standpoint, I engage in regular and ongoing professional supervision and adhering to the NZAC code of ethics so that my clients feel heard, accepted and safe on their therapeutic journey. Utilising my skills and years of experience for the welfare of all people, my work is Trauma informed, strengths based, working from an integrated model of practice. I care about the holistic wellbeing of each person and my work encompasses a range of tools and strategies that help people connect with themselves to manage times of challenge, distress and overwhelm. This includes but is not limited to Solutions focused, TA, Attachment theory, DBT, Te Whare Tapa Wha, Creative Arts Therapy and other tools and strategies to help empower clients to thrive. I offer consultancy and advocacy in the youth and social service sector and my long term goal will be working towards ACC accreditation. I also have experience in public speaking, group facilitation and program development. When I am not working I enjoy cooking, singing or going on spontaneous adventures and road trips. I have an epic therapy cat named Missy who keeps me grounded. I love being in nature, connecting to the whenua and embracing all that life has to offer. I am a risk taker, a justice seeker and wholeheartedly love people and life!

Excited for our subsidised group for those who do not qualify for ACC, please feel free to register for the following, if you haven't done one of our groups before!

Welcome to 2026 from Re:Woven Therapy Charitable Trust

As we step into a new year, we want to take a moment to welcome you back into our space.

Re:Woven exists to create gentle, accessible, and mana-enhancing spaces where creativity, connection, and care support people’s wellbeing. As we move into 2026, we are opening the year with a new offering that reflects the heart of our kaupapa.

Following our amazing uptake for our tasters at the end of last year we are now offering our first group for the year!

Introducing: Te Taiao Creative Art Therapy Group

This is an 8-week, community-based creative wellbeing programme for adults seeking a supportive space to explore emotional wellbeing, self-connection, and healing through art.

Te Taiao weaves together creative arts therapy and connection with the natural world. Sessions are grounded, trauma-informed, and guided by the elements, supporting grounding, emotional expression, resilience, and reflection.

No art experience is needed. This is not about making “good” art, but about using creativity as a tool for wellbeing, meaning-making, and connection.

Programme details:
Starts: Thursday 12th February 2026
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Duration: 8 weeks
Location: 151 Gala Street, Invercargill
Adults 18+ or older
10-12 spots available
All materials provided

Accessibility:
As part of our sustainability plan this programme is offered on a sliding-scale contribution model, with fully funded and subsidised spaces available. No one will be excluded due to financial hardship.

If this speaks to you, we invite you to register your interest via the link below. A short pre-group kōrero is part of the process to support safe and supportive participation.

We’re grateful to be stepping into 2026 with new mahi and a new creative healing space for groups under ACC.

This ACC-supported group offers wāhine a trauma-informed, culturally grounded space to explore healing through creative expression, gentle grounding practices, and shared reflection. No art experience is needed — this is about process, not performance.

Referrals are now open. Clients must be referred by their Lead Provider and have approved hours for group work. Spaces are limited to 10 participants.

We also have further groups planned later in the year if this timing doesn’t suit.

I know I’ve been quiet on social media this year, but the work itself has been anything but quiet.

This season has been full of learning, growth, and meaningful moments in the spaces I’m privileged to hold. As the year comes to a close, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to every client who has trusted me with their stories, their courage, and their healing this year.

I step into this season with deep gratitude for the opportunities, the learning, and the work that continues to shape me both personally and professionally.

Wishing you a gentle, restorative Christmas and a hopeful New Year.
Thank you for being part of the journey.

With gratitude and hope, Ingrid

Re:Woven Therapy Charitable Trust & Piece of Cake Invercargill

Night of the Arts - Poetry Pharmacy

Welcome to the fringe, where the medicine is metaphor
and the open mic is a portal.

Here, Poetry Pharmacy offers remedies for restless hearts:
Telegram blessings.
Spoken word salves.
A slice of something sweet, and a sliver of something sacred.

In collaboration with the whimsical hearts at Piece of Cake,
we're curating an evening of story, soul, and poetic soulfood—
fringed with feeling, frosted with truth.

Featuring our guest artists:

Julian Noel — actor, storyteller, mischief maker.
He tells the kind of stories that scratch at the soul, personal myths, ancestral echoes, fierce truths wrapped in laughter.
Because we all live inside stories—handed down, inherited, invented.

Katie Greene — poetic, rhythmic, and joyfully grounded.
A lover of all things, born in Invercargill, shaped by the Wellington slam scene.
Her pen is lit with the fire of Tayi Tibble, Chris Tse, and Jessica Hinerangi.
Her poems: both gentle and electric.

Irirangi Luke — kindness made sound.
Mystic melodies and lyrical wisdom spill from her being.
She sings what your ancestors want you to remember.
A voice that is a balm.

Ben Wilmot — raw, honest, messy, beautiful.
A brave conversationalist who doesn’t flinch from the ache.
He speaks what your heart has been trying to say.

Ingrid Campbell — poet, therapist, weaver of stories.
Her journey to wholeness is etched in every line—
a reclamation of truth, a challenge to injustice,
a reflection of culture and courage in bold poetic enquiry.

This is not just a show, it’s a sanctuary.
Come taste the fringe.
Come speak your piece.
Come receive a poem like a prescription
and leave with telegram tenderness stitched in your spirit.
