Kawakawa Pharmacy is an established, busy community pharmacy, with a positive and supportive working environment. We focus on customer service and going the extra mile for our patients and customers.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic person with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our dispensary team.
The Dispensary Technician role covers a range of duties, which will include:
entering and dispensing prescriptions,
assisting customers with prescription enquires and providing healthcare advice,
preparation of compliance packaging,
batch claiming,
stock management and inventory
over the counter sales
exceptional customer service and customer care
This is a full-time position, which includes a regular Saturday roster. Part-time hours may be considered for the right applicant.
We are a ‘family friendly’ workplace, flexibility is available to help with your work/life balance.
The successful candidate will have:
good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and work efficiently within a team environment
good time management skills with ability to handle pressure, be self-motivated and show initiative
accuracy and attention to deal is essential
excellent computer skills – TONIQ experience is preferable
be a physically fit person with stable work life balance, who takes pride in their professional appearance & performance
commitment to continual improvement of self and business
hold a current NZ drivers licence
an understanding of tikanga Maori & a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
It is preferable that applicants have experience working in a New Zealand Pharmacy & have New Zealand Certificate in Pharmacy Technician level 4. However, applicants with no experience or part way through training will be considered. Work based training is provided.
