✨ Why We Created the Northland Holistic Expos ✨
When I first created the Northland Holistic Expos, my vision was to bring together the many gifted healers, therapists, readers, artisans and holistic businesses we have here in Northland—and give them a welcoming, affordable place to share their work with the wider community.
Just as importantly, I wanted to create a space where the public could discover the incredible services and products available within our region—many of which they may never have seen, heard of or had the opportunity to experience before.
During the early stages, Daniella came along with a very similar vision of creating opportunities for Northland’s holistic community to come together. It quickly became clear that our ideas and intentions aligned, so rather than following separate paths, we decided to unite our energy, experience and passion. Together, we began building something even greater than either of us had originally imagined.
We wanted to create an event where people could explore different approaches to health, healing and wellbeing in a relaxed and supportive environment. A place where you could meet practitioners face-to-face, ask questions, experience something new and perhaps discover exactly the person, product or modality you needed at that moment.
But the expos have become so much more than we originally imagined.
They are not simply marketplaces. They have grown into vibrant community gatherings filled with warmth, connection, learning and genuine conversations. Friendships have formed, collaborations have begun, small businesses have found new clients, and visitors have been introduced to therapies and ideas they may never otherwise have encountered.
One of the things we love most is seeing people walk through the doors unsure of what they might find—and leave feeling inspired, uplifted and excited about their experience.
Every expo has its own energy, created by everyone who takes part: the stallholders, speakers, practitioners, volunteers and visitors. Together, we create a space where people feel comfortable being curious, exploring new possibilities and connecting with others who share an interest in natural health, personal growth and spiritual wellbeing.
The Northland Holistic Expos have exceeded what we first hoped they could be, and we feel incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped them grow into the special community events they are today.
