General Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner/ Extended Care Paramedic

Raukawa Whānau Ora is seeking a General Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner and /or Extended Care Paramedic to join our team providing high-quality, culturally grounded primary care to our community. This is an opportunity to work in a Kaupapa Māori environment, supporting whānau ora and contributing to improved health outcomes for whānau, hapū and iwi.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide high-quality, holistic primary care to individuals and their
whānau within a supportive general practice environment grounded in Kaupapa Māori
values.
You will work across a broad scope of practice, delivering care that is clinically sound,
culturally responsive, and whānau-centred, while contributing to improved health
outcomes for the community.
Your day-to-day work will include a mix of acute, chronic, and preventative care, along
with opportunities to build strong, ongoing relationships with patients and their whānau. You will play a key role in supporting continuity of care, early intervention, and
health education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver timely, professional and culturally appropriate clinical care
Provide preventative care, health education, and screening support
Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions
Support care coordination and referrals with other providers
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

What You’ll Bring
Essential:
Registered General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with current NZ APC
Registered Extended Care Paramedic with current NZ APC
Experience in primary care / general practice
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Highly Valued:
Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
Commitment to culturally responsive, whānau-centred care
Familiarity with MedTech Evolution (or similar PMS)
