💉 Flu & COVID Vaccinations – Bookings Now Open!

You can now book your vaccination through www.bookmyvaccine.co.nz – quick and easy to secure your spot 😊

👉 Important tip when booking for families or multiple people:
Please use the “Book for an individual” option for each person.

This ensures the flu and COVID vaccine options appear correctly when booking. The group booking option does not show the tick box for Flu.

We know it’s a little extra effort, but it helps make sure everyone gets exactly what they need 👍

We’ve now opened our flu vaccination bookings from 1st April, and our team will be providing vaccinations right here in store.

Important Update About Our Medication Pack Service

Dear Valued Customers,

At Steeds Pharmacy, we are committed to providing safe, reliable, and personalised care for everyone who trusts us with their medicines. Our sachet and medico pack service helps many people in our community take their medicines correctly and with confidence, and we are proud to offer this support.

Due to the rising costs involved in preparing these packs and the time required to ensure every pack is checked carefully and accurately, we will be making a small adjustment to our sachet and medico pack charges.

We will also be introducing:
• An administration fee where multiple contacts with your doctor or hospital are required to resolve prescription queries or obtain missing information.
• An urgent pack fee in situations where prescriptions are received late and a pack needs to be prepared urgently to ensure you do not miss your medicines.

These changes help us continue to provide the careful checking, coordination with prescribers, and dedicated time needed to prepare your medicines safely.

We understand that any change to fees can be challenging, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support. Our team is always here to help, so please feel free to speak with us if you have any questions or would like to discuss your medication pack service.

🧪 WHAT IS WEGOVY

Wegovy is a prescription medical treatment used to help people who are overweight or obese, lose weight , as part of a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity plan. It contains the active ingredient semaglutide, which belongs to a class called GLP-1 receptor agonists, also used in some diabetes medications.

Available as a once-weekly injection.

Wegovy mimics a natural gut hormone (GLP-1) that signals fullness to the brain and slows stomach emptying. This:
Reduces appetite

Following last night’s chemical spill at Alliance Meatworks here in Levin, our thoughts are with everyone affected.
