There are some people whose kindness, guidance, and support deserve to be recognised and I would like to mention these people publicly, they truly deserve to be honored.
Firstly, from the bottom of my heart, I want to acknowledge Andrew Malcom and the incredible team at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home. Your support, guidance, encouragement, and willingness to stand beside me has meant more than words can express.
If it wasn’t for Andrew and his amazing team believing in me, Eagles Wings Funeral Services would not be where I am today, walking alongside and helping many whānau through some of life’s hardest moments.
In an industry where compassion matters deeply, you have shown generosity, professionalism, and genuine care — not only to me, but to the many families throughout our communities. I am forever grateful. ❤️
I also want to give special recognition to Lavender Ong for the incredible and compassionate work you do in mortuary care for presentation. The dignity, gentleness, and aroha you show our loved ones behind the scenes often goes un-noticed, yet it is one of the most important parts of a farewell . The respect and care you give to the deceased and their whānau deserves the highest recognition. Thank you for treating every loved one with such kindness and honour, your work is incredible!!. You made my Whanau happy today in the way you presented their loved one. Thank you Lavender. ❤️
